This lot from Duverney comes from his grandfather, who has been on the farm for over seven decades. It may be one of the oldest Caturra lots in the region. The coffee is processed in small batches, allowing for a larger volume for production. After depulping, it ferments for seven days, and on Friday, it is washed before being sun-dried for two to three weeks. The result is a very sweet cup with floral notes and white chocolate, making it truly special.

Contact for DetailsDuverney, like many others in Colombia, grew up surrounded by coffee farms. From a young age, he left home to forge his own path. He dedicated himself to land demining in Colombia, and at 26, he returned to Sonson to be closer to his family and build a more peaceful life. Now, alongside his brothers, he works on the farm with the goal of bringing it to a more stable market. He has spent two years exploring the world of specialty coffee and has learned at every step of the process. His greatest dream, after navigating so many war-torn areas, is to help build a safe future for Colombia, where more and more people can earn a living with dignity.
