This fruit-forward community experimental lot, serves different purposes. On one side, it’s a complex, versatile coffee with a sensorial experience of dark chocolate, cacao nibs, round body and a pleasant fruity flavor that makes for a great blend component or a stand-alone single-origin release. On the other side, it is a lot that builds demand for the processing experiments that are necessary for the development of the young producers in the program. This lot is composed by many experimental small lots from producers that when combined result in a consistent fruit-forward and chocolaty profile. This way, producers can learn and experiment with small batches and roasters can support this learning exercise by adopting this coffee in their menu

How this coffee was produced
It’s a blend primarily composed of naturally processed and extended fermentation coffees from the Young Producers, with Sebastian Ramirez Red Fruits added to ensure consistency in the cup.
Experimentation
Every two or three month we open up a place for experimantation where producers will to a 20-30 kg batch to experiment with either naturals or extenderd fermentation processes
Cupping and Selection
We cup together, give them feedback and plan so their can scale this experiment for a newer product in their portfolio
Scaling
Once a producer lot is approved and shows market potential, we scale production and offer it as a single-origin product for our customers.

Development Lot
This lot unites small producers, guaranteeing quality and consistency while expanding the Young Producer Program to new farmers and origins.

This is a lot composed by farms in Antioquia, Quindio and Huila. Harvested between 1600 and 200 masl
